We are the data controller for personal data collected on this site, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679).

What data we collect

  • Contact form (/contact.html): name, company (optional), email address, subject, message — when you submit the form.
  • Newsletter subscription (footer and blog page): email address — when you subscribe and confirm via double opt-in.
  • Analytics (all pages): aggregated, anonymous statistics about visits (page URL, referrer, country, device type) — with no cookies and no personal identifiers.

We do not collect any other personal data, and we do not use tracking cookies.

Why we process your data

  • Contact form: to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — replying to a request you initiated.
  • Newsletter: to send you new blog posts and occasional updates. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), confirmed via double opt-in. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
  • Analytics: to understand site usage in aggregate and improve content. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since no personal identifier is stored, no consent banner is required.

Sub-processors

We rely on the following third-party services to operate this site:

  • OVH (France, EU): web hosting. Files are served from EU data centers.
  • Brevo (France / Belgium, EU): newsletter management. Your email address is stored and processed in the EU. Brevo Privacy Policy.
  • Umami Cloud: privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no personal identifiers. Umami Privacy.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form messages: kept in our email inbox for as long as relevant to the conversation, typically up to 3 years after last contact.
  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics: aggregated data retained for 12 months by Umami; no individual identifiers stored.

Your rights

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Request data portability
